During Hannover Messe 2026, we had the opportunity to introduce Be8 BeVant® to the European market, a biofuel developed in Brazil to help reduce emissions from heavy-duty transportation. Its launch came at a time when governments and businesses are seeking practical alternatives to accelerate the energy transition without relying exclusively on solutions that still require extensive infrastructure before they can be widely implemented.
What sets this technology apart is its ability to deliver immediate results. Be8 BeVant® can be used in existing vehicle fleets, leveraging current infrastructure while enabling meaningful reductions in greenhouse gas emissions. During SGS-audited testing conducted in Germany, the fuel demonstrated outstanding environmental performance, reinforcing its relevance to the European market.
I have long believed that the energy transition will be built through a combination of complementary solutions. Electrification, renewable hydrogen, and biofuels all have important roles to play in this process. What we set out to demonstrate at Hannover Messe is that advanced biofuels are already ready to make a difference today, helping companies and countries accelerate their decarbonization goals more quickly, efficiently, and sustainably.
