Be8’s participation in Hannover Messe 2026 marked an important milestone for Brazil’s biofuels industry. During his visit to the company’s booth at the Brazil Pavilion, President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva highlighted the strategic role of biofuels in Brazil’s energy matrix and reaffirmed the country’s position as a global leader in renewable energy.
During the event, we introduced Be8 BeVant® to the European market, an energy transition solution developed and patented in Brazil. A Mercedes-Benz Actros truck powered by Be8 BeVant® underwent functional testing in Germany, demonstrating in real-world conditions the ability of Brazilian biofuels to help reduce emissions without compromising vehicle performance.
I believe moments like this reinforce the importance of expanding the international dialogue on the different technological pathways toward decarbonization. Brazil has one of the cleanest energy matrices in the world and is uniquely positioned to lead this global conversation by offering practical, scalable solutions to the world’s climate challenges.
